Kids are invited to come and enjoy an after-school snack each Wednesday. We will spend a few minutes relaxing and "yakking" about the day -- fun things that happened at school, interesting things students learned, etc. We will then discuss a character trait, how we can apply it to our daily lives, and share how a certain animal demonstrates the character trait. Example: Determination: Purposing to accomplish right goals at the right time, regardless of the opposition. The salmon demonstrates this character trait after spending 1-4 years at sea it determines to head home - back to the stream where it was hatched. Swimming against fierce currents and leaping waterfalls, it covers hundreds of miles to home. For more information, contact: Barb Lebo or (765) 436-7348 x211.
