Summer Reading 2010:
Make a Splash @ your Library!

Our 2010 Summer Reading program ended on July 24th. Children and their families had the opportunity to attend over 30 children's programs this summer at the library. By providing enriching activities for children to participate in we are making a positive impact on what many educational professionals know as "Summer Learning Loss". Recent studies have indicated that students who participate in engaging activities during their summer break do not suffer this achievement gap.

The Children's Department would like to thank the following sponsors for another great summer reading program.
