ILL winged book

What is ILL?

InterLibrary Loan Service gives library patrons the opportunity to borrow materials from other libraries through Lebanon Public Library.

Who can use ILL?

ILL Service is provided to library cardholders. To place a request, a patron must be in good standing with no overdue items and less than $10.00 in fines.

How do I request a book through ILL?

An ILL request may be placed at any circulation desk. Requests will take a minimum of two weeks to fulfill, but could take longer depending on availability of the item. However, multiple requests may arrive at different times. The Library will contact the patron when any materials are available for pick up.

How much does getting a book through ILL cost?

There is a $.50 delivery charge for each item upon pick-up. The patron is responsible for letting the library know if the materials are no longer needed before delivery. Otherwise, the delivery charge will still apply.

How long do I get to keep an ILL book?

Loaning libraries may establish loan periods that differ from those of the Lebanon Public Library's loan periods. The patron must agree to abide by the loan restrictions placed upon the materials by the loaning libraries. Renewals of these materials are not permitted.
