Boone County residents and merchants donated some $14-16,000 dollars to help purchase clothing for needy kids in the Boone County area.
On Saturday, December 19th, officers from the Lebanon Police Department, the Zionsville Police Department, the Indiana State Police, and the Boone County Sheriff Department, assembled at the Lebanon Wal-Mart to shop with 158 children. Wal-Mart opened at 6:00 a.m. just for the occasion. The response was nothing short of overwhelming and positive!
