Sometimes she even touches on serious subjects like the importance of faith and the dangers of doing taxes with your husband. Lori is the author of "I Was a Better Mother Before I Had Kids," "Pass the Faith, Please," and her most recent release, "All Stressed Up and No Place To Go." Her 1998 essay "The Death of Common Sense" still receives air time on radio stations and is frequently sent throughout cyberspace, often credited to Anonymous. Lori says she has been called many things as a writer, but to be called Anonymous hurts the most of all. Lori and her husband, also a journalist, have three children all in their early twenties. Two have graduated from college and the third is still plugging away. Lori and her husband spend their spare time searching for change beneath the sofa cushions.
