Kiwanis Fall Festival Parade

The Kiwanis Fall Festival Parade celebrating the 150th year anniversary of the founding of Zionsville will be held on Saturday, September 7. Many of the participants' costumes and floats will reflect Zionsville's rich cultural history.

The parade begins at Zionsville Community High School at 10:45 a.m. and reaches the historic brick Main Street at approximately 11:00 a.m. WTHR Channel 13 news anchor John Stehr will be the parade announcer. Mary Jane and Marshall Brown will be the parade grand marshals.

Over eighty groups and organizations will march or present floats including P.H. Sullivan Museum, Zionsville Historical Society, 33rd Virginia Volunteer Infantry, Zionsville High School Marching Band and the Murat Highlanders Pipe and Drum Marching Band.

The Dandies will be performing before the parade near the parade announcer area on Main Street.

The parade will begin at the Zionsville High School parking lot. It will proceed on Mulberry Street towards downtown Zionsville, turn left onto Ash Street, then right onto Main Street.

The parade co-sponsors include the Zionsville Kiwanis Club, Zionsville Lions Club and the Boone County Tourism Council.
