- Stewards of Children® child sexual abuse prevention training for parents and adults who work with children hosted by Boone County Child Advocacy Center in partnership with Chauci' s Place from 5:30 to 8 pm at Boone County Senior Services (515 Crown Point Drive, Lebanon). The cost is FREE. Stewards of Children is a prevention training program that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The program is designed for parents or adults who work with children. It is the only nationally distributed, evidence based program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors. - Retirement Party for Karen Haram of Families First from 5 - 7 pm at the Families First's Lebanon office (327 N. Lebanon St., Suite 103 Lebanon, IN ). Celebrating Karen's 25 years of service to Families First and the Boone County community. Karen has touched the lives of literally thousands of Boone County families and individuals over the years, in her role as office administrator for Families First's Lebanon office. All are welcome!
- Red, White, and Blues from 6-10 pm in downtown Lebanon on the square. Live jazz and blues music featuring The Wade Baker Collaboration and the Sugar Creek Big Band. Art Exhibits in the Boone County Courthouse, wine-tasting, food vendors will be on site. The 4th Annual Frog Jumping Competition will begin with registration at 6 pm - contest begins at 6:30. No admission, family friendly event. Event hosted by Lebanon Vitalization, Inc. and the Lebanon Community Arts Council of Indiana.

Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. - 2nd annual Run With the Buzzards 5-10-15K run/walk at 7 pm starting at the Thorntown Park in Thorntown. Boone County 4-H Clubs, Inc. will again the be beneficiary of our event, using monies raised to promote healthy lifestyles. Run With the Buzzards is sponsored by Boone County EMS and Witham Health Services, in cooperation with Boone County 4-H Clubs, Inc. An added feature this year will be a canned food drive for the Caring Center; a cooperative effort between Boone County EMS and the Thorntown/Sugar Creek Fire Departments. We encourage participants to bring non-perishable items to help those less fortunate. Mark your calendar and plan to attend one of the best family-friendly events in central Indiana.
