- Boone County Community Network Board of Directors - meets every other month on the second Wednesday of the month at noon at the Boone REMC Community Room. (Next meeting will be in May 2005.)
- Boone County Landmarks Preservation, Inc. - meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Lebanon Public Library. "Working to save our historic structures."
- Children's Mental Health Advocacy Project (CMHAP) Parent's Support Group - This is for parents of troubled children of all ages. We meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month (no meeting in June, July, and August) at 7:00 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church (in Lebanon) in one of the classrooms. Educational materials provided and an atmosphere of confidential concern. - Community Bingo the 4th Tuesday of each month at Hickory Creek at Lebanon. The public is welcome. Refreshments and prizes for all. Games begin at 2:30 pm.
- Community Euchre Club every Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Hickory Creek at Lebanon. The public is welcome.
- Community Farmers' Market every Saturday Morning (indoors during the winter) at the Thorntown Heritage Museum (124 West Main Street, Thorntown) from 8:30-Noon. Open All Year - free admission. Featuring seasonal produce, baked goods, free-range meats, poultry, and fiber from farms in the area, and traditional arts and crafts of local artisans. - Purdue Club of Boone County Winter Meeting at 6 pm at Ulen Country Club in Lebanon. Don Rhodes, PAA Staff Contact for Boone County is the guest speaker. Cost is $20 per person for a buffet meal. - CPR Class offered by the Boone County Family YMCA from 10am-noon at the YMCA office. Learn to save a life! An American Heart Association certified instructor will teach lifesaving skills in a supportive and encouraging manner. Covers CPR, First Aid, and AED use. Full attendance is required. - Hunting Heritage Banquet sponsored by the National Wild Turkey Federation at the Lebanon American Legion on Hendricks Drive. Everyone is welcome. Single tickets are $45 and include a membership to the NWTF. Couples tickets are $60. Children $10. There will be raffles, silent and live auctions and several fun games to play with chances of winning guns or artwork from popular outdoor artists which include Terry Redlin and Barnhouse. - Planning Meeting for the Boone Family YMCA at 7pm at 124 North Lebanon Street, Love and Faith Fellowship. The Boone County Family YMCA wants to help Boone County residents establish a healthier lifestyle through exercise and nutrition. - PlayAThon from 1-3pm at the Lebanon Area Boys & Girls Club. This a special two-hour event for Club members, their friends and schoolmates to participate in by rotating players between toy or game stations. The members need to save and collect spare change, it only takes a pledge of a penny to participate. This program enables Club members to raise funds by doing what they love to do most -- play! Proceeds from the Playathon program will be submitted to UNICEF and will qualify for the Kids Help Out Matching Donation Program for UNICEF Tsunami Relief and Recovery. - Zionsville Strolling Strings Carnival from 6-8pm at the Zionsville Middle School. Attractions: Music performed by the Zionsville Strolling Strings, face painting, Burrus entertainment booth, harp corner, string instrument petting zoo by Knapp Music, book the strolling strings for your next event, and much more. - Judge David's 7th Annual Community In-Service "Nurturing Our Children.....Ensuring Our Future." Topics to be covered are "Substance Abuse Concerns," "Disorders and Resultant Behaviors," and "Bullies/Conflict Resolutions." - Call Out for Track and Field Athletes for Special Olympics Boone County team. New athletes welcome!!! Practice begins at 9am at Lebanon HS track on Saturday, March 26th.
