Recurring Events
- Autism/Asperger’s Family Support Group - meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7pm at Centenary Methodist Church (910 Fordice Road, Lebanon). This meeting is open to family members, caregivers, and educators of children with Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. For more information, please contact

- Community Bingo the 4th Tuesday of each month at Hickory Creek at Lebanon. The public is welcome. Refreshments and prizes for all. Games begin at 2:30 pm.
- Community Euchre Club every Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Hickory Creek at Lebanon. The public is welcome.
- Community Farmers' Market every Saturday Morning (indoors during the winter) at the Thorntown Heritage Museum (124 West Main Street, Thorntown) from 8:30-Noon. Open All Year - free admission. Featuring seasonal produce, baked goods, free-range meats, poultry, and fiber from farms in the area, and traditional arts and crafts of local artisans. - GED classes from 6-8:30 pm every Monday and Wednesday evening at Lebanon High School (Room I-20). New student intake testing will be the first Monday of each month. For more information visit the Boone County Learning Network's website.

- The Boone County Bluebird Society Spring Meeting at 7 pm at the Boone REMC Community Room (1207 Indianapolis Ave., Lebanon). Bluebirds need our help due to the loss of their natural habitats. We will go over how and where to put out nesting boxes, how to monitor them, deal with predators, and more. Nesting boxes and literature will be available. For more information, please contact

- The Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library in Zionsville will be closed during regular business hours to host the Indiana Library Federation District IV meeting. Outside drop boxes and online services are available at all times. The HMMPL will reopen for regular hours on Saturday, May 5 at 9:30 am.

- Purdue Club of Boone County Meeting at Ulen Country Club in Lebanon, IN. The guest speaker for the next meeting--MORGAN BURKE!! Drinks and Fellowship will begin at 6pm with the buffet dinner at 6:30pm. Cost of the meal is $25. If you have NOT paid your yearly dues those are $25. - YMCA Poker Run starting at 8 am (last bike out by 10:30 am). Poker run and raffle to raise funds for the YMCA families and especially the children's programs. Starting location: YMCA Soccer Field in Lebanon, Indiana (on Maple Drive, west of State Rd 39). Cost is $25 rider and $15 passenger (includes shirt, patch and raffle ticketguaranteed shirt size if registration is received by March 15, 2007). All motorcycle riders are invited to come out and play. Ride though Boone County to historic and special sites while playing one or more poker hands - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place. Snack ride - food snacks at some of the sites ! Bike show, raffle prizes, booth vendors, and music (special band to perform). Booths open from 10 am to 8 pm. Public welcome! - What We've Lost and What We Need to Preserve presented by Indiana Historian, David Enyart, at 6:30 pm in the Heritage Room at the Lebanon Public Library. Mr. Enyart is a retired electrical engineer with a degree from Purdue University. His studies in local history led him to uncover information that enhances but often contradicts conventional wisdom about the history of public buildings in Indiana. The free program includes a one hour presentation consisting of about 250 images of 200 different Indiana courthouses from the first in 1802 through the last in 2004. May is Indiana Historical Preservation Month.

- Zionsville Country Market on the brick Main Street in Zionsville from 10 am to 5 pm. Food and entertainment as well as shopping!

- Thee Gathering will present a concert of contemporary Christian music at 4 pm at St. Francis Episcopal Church (1525 Mulberry Street, Zionsville, IN). Thee Gathering has been praising Jesus in word and song as a group since the late 70's. Their name is taken from Matthew 18:20, "For wherever two or three people come together in My Name, I am there, right among them! (Phillips)." They have provided programs for churches, retirement homes, the county jail, retreats, and conferences throughout Indiana. A reception will follow the concert. The concert is free and open to the public; however, free will donations will be cheerfully accepted. For more information about this event, please call A. - Friends of Boone County Trails Meeting at 6:30 pm in the Community Room at the Boone REMC (1207 Indianapolis Avenue in Lebanon). Dawn Kroh of Green 3 will give an update on the progress of both the Farm Heritage Trail and the Thorntown Trail. Also, Dan Warkentien, Jack Allen, and Frank Hensley (Friends of Boone County Trails) will give a presentation on their most recent trip to the "Great Allegheny Trail."

- Love INC of Boone County Luncheon at 12 noon at First Community Church (701 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon). Love INC of Boone County is a Christian based benevolence group that seeks to fill gaps in existing services with church ministries and volunteers. We would like to share with you the Love INC vision and what this can mean to the people of Boone County. We would definitely appreciate your involvement, input and support.
