- Zionsville Fire Department's Annual Pancake Day from from 6-11 am at the ZFD Fire Station 91 (100 North Ford) Road in Zionsville. There will be pancakes and sausage served by Zionsville firefighters. You won't want to miss all the homemade baked goods at the Old Fashioned Bake Sale, face painting for the kids or a visit with Sparky the Fire Dog! Everyone is also encouraged to bring items to donate to the Helping Hands Shelter of Boone County for Women & Children of Domestic Violence, who will be onsite at the event. - Friends of the Library Book Sale from 9:30 am – 5 pm at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (250 North 5th Street, Zionsville, Indiana, 46077). Free admission, $10 bag sale from 3 – 5 pm. - Annual Josiah's Ride: Cruzin' 4 a Cure Poker Run/Fun Day to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society & 6yr old Michael diagnosed with leukemia. Presented by the American Legion Riders Post #79. The event will be held at the Zionsville American Legion 9950 E 600 S. Zionsville, IN 46077. Entry fee for the poker run includes breakfast, dinner, live band and raffles. Bounce House for the kiddies. Cost: Pre-register by September 25th $20 Single - $35 Double. (includes a long sleeve shirt). After September 25th: $25.00 per person. Breakfast w/no ride $4.00. - Boone County Senior Health & Wellness Expo from 9 am - 1pm at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds in Lebanon, IN. The event is FREE for all attendees! Boone County seniors, their caregivers and family members are encouraged to attend. More than 50 vendors will be in attendance. Health screenings, flu shots, medicine cabinet cleanup, demonstrations, door prizes, food and more will be offered. - Safe-Sitter Class from 9:30 am – 4 pm for ages 11 – 13 at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (250 North 5th Street, Zionsville, Indiana, 46077). A course designed to teach babysitters how to be safe and nurturing caregivers, and how to handle children's emergencies. Please bring a sack lunch. Cost is $55. - Lincoln's Lebanon and Civil War Re-enactment from 10 am to 9 pm on Saturday and 9 am to 3 pm on Sunday at Lebanon Memorial Park (located on North Lebanon Street - State Road 39....7 blocks north of the square). Parking at the high school parking lot with free shuttle service to the park - just follow the signs. President Lincoln will be in attendance, speaking and meeting the crowd, all day on Saturday. The president is a very personable chap!! Civil War re-enactors (both Union and Confederate) will be camped in the park for the weekend, displaying typical camp life, and will engage in several skirmishes throughout both days, with musket and cannon fire. Various food and drink vendors will be on hand. A number of demonstrators and vendors of period crafts will be on hand. Many volunteers will be dressed in period garb. A square dance will be held on Saturday evening. A period open-air church service will be held on Sunday morning. Outstanding live 19th century music will be heard throughout both days. Sponsored by the Boone County Historical Society and Lebanon Community Arts Council.

- Oktoberfest from noon - 7 pm at Trader's Point Creamery (9101 Moore Road Zionsville, Indiana 46077). Oktoberfest offers a day of fun and entertainment for the whole family. Admission tickets include access to hayrides around the farm and outdoor activity stations with games, crafts, and face painting available for children of all ages. Live music with the 3 to 1 Band will incorporate hands-on interactive drumming experiences from 12-3pm. From 4-7pm the famous PolkaBoy Band will entertain.
