Lebanon Reporter Book Drive and Book Sale

Dust off those old books and music, and donate them to The Lebanon Reporter Book Drive. We are looking for donations of used books, tapes, CD's, etc. to be sold in order to raise money for the Newspapers in Education program sponsored by The Lebanon Reporter.

Please drop off your donations at The Lebanon Reporter office at 117 E. Washington St, Lebanon, from now until February 22nd, Monday Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Book Sale will be Saturday, March 2nd from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Lebanon Reporter office.

Newspapers In Education (NIE) is a program that places newspapers in schools. We are trying to raise money for this program so that the schools do not have to pay for them. The teachers are provided study guides that demonstrate different ways to utilize the newspaper for educational purposes. The newspapers help to educate the children on local, state and national issues so that they are more informed about the world around them.

All proceeds from the book drive will go directly in to the Newspapers In Education program. If you would like to make a monetary donation for Newspapers In Education please contact Jennifer at 765-482-4650 ext. 112.
