2002 Festival of Wreaths
"An Old Fashioned Hometown Christmas"

FESTIVAL OF WREATHS December 7th, 13th & 14th, 2002

Once again, the Lebanon Downtown Vitalization Association Elves have been diligently working behind the scenes on the events, festivities and fun for the 2002 Festival of Wreaths.

The Festival kick-off will be Saturday, December 7th beginning with Santa arriving via horse and carriage at 1pm. Santa will be available for visits and pictures in the Courthouse Rotunda until 4pm.

Carriage rides will also be available around the square until 7pm.

The Cragun House is having their holiday open house between 12-4pm.

Holiday Wreaths donated by local downtown businesses will be auctioned off in the Courthouse Rotunda at 4pm. All proceeds will be donated to the Boone County Mental Health Department to support local less fortunate families during the Christmas Holiday.

Mayor Acton will officially kick-off the holiday season by lighting the downtown Christmas lights at 6pm.

Other activities throughout the day will be local schools and organizations caroling, and Christmas trees decorated by Boone County Elementary students displayed around the square. Drawing/Coloring Contest artwork entries and winners displayed in the business windows, and hot cocoa/coffee will be available.

Friday, December 13th - The Zionsville Middle School Orchestra will perform in the Courthouse Rotunda at 6pm.

Saturday, December 14th - Santa will again be available for visits and pictures in the Courthouse Rotunda from 11am – 3pm.

The 2nd Annual Downtown Scavenger Hunt will be from 11am – 2pm. This is a fun and exciting family fun activity!! There will be fabulous prizes for the first 3 individuals/groups who correctly complete the trivia. Prizes will be donations from local businesses. The Festival of Wreaths is a community event brought to you by the Lebanon Downtown Vitalization Association.
