Free disposal of household hazardous waste—you must be a resident of Boone County.

Only Residential Waste Accepted (limit - 75 lbs dry or 20 gallons liquid):
  • antifreeze
  • brake fluid
  • drain cleaners
  • fluorescent tube lights
  • glues and adhesives
  • household cleaners
  • batteries (autos, lawn-mowers & rechargeable)
  • pesticides
  • pool chemicals
  • thermostats,
  • thermometers
  • toilet bowl cleaners
  • used motor oil
  • oil based paint/thinner/stain
  • ....and more

  • Tires
  • Radioactive waste
  • Explosives (Ammunition, fireworks, flares etc.)
  • Medical Waste (Outdated prescriptions, needles etc.)
  • Latex Paint - Latex paint is non-toxic and should be allowed to dry out (cat litter in the paint will help) until it is non-liquid, then place it in the trash

Lebanon Directions:

I-65 North to the 2nd exit. (State Road 39) (also called Lebanon St.)
Turn right (north) onto SR 39.
Proceed north until Main Street. (2nd stoplight on Town Square).
Turn left (west) onto Main Street.
Proceed approx. 4-5 blocks
Come to a "y" - turn right onto Lafayette Ave. (going north)
Proceed approx. 1/2 mile down on the right (east) side of Lafayette Ave.
Just past Camp Street.
