This program is for teen tobacco users and is not a cessation program.  TEG is a more in depth education that reviews the marketing practices of big tobacco, the ingredients found in tobacco, financial aspect of long term tobacco use, long and short term health effects of tobacco use and the social norms of using tobacco products. Youth are educated to take the next step to seek permanent tobacco cessation. Youth may be referred through court diversion, school disciplinary measures for tobacco use, parent and self-referral.

Program is free of charge to Boone County residents. Classes meet at 4:30 pm at the Boone County Office Building.

This program is made possible from funding or support by the following:  Indiana Tobacco Prevention and Cessation, The Boone County Cancer Society, The Boone County Health Department and Witham Health Services.
