Early Intervention Services:
Free services to infants and toddlers 0-3 years, and their families to assist in the development of the "growing up" milestones e.g., crawling, walking, playing, feeding self, etc. Parents with concerns about their child's development are encouraged to call.
Toy/Equipment Loan Services:
Age appropriate educational toys and specially designed
equipment for children with special needs may be borrowed
for a period of time as needed.

A preschool program for low-income children ages three
to five years. Offering developmentally appropriate
educational activities in both the center and home base
options, health services, parental involvement, social
services, nutrition education and transportation. There is no
cost if eligible.

noted otherwise). Early registrations are often conducted in
February for the following school year.

Mother's Day Out
A unique childcare program for parents of whom neither
full-time day care nor half-time preschool is an option. The
purpose is to provide low cost, high quality childcare in a
loving, wholesome atmosphere. This provides occasional
childcare with no long-term commitment.

Indiana Parent Information Network, Inc. (IPIN)
IPIN is a statewide "parents helping parents" organization
that provides information about laws and services as well
as many other resources available to meet the needs of
families of children with disabilities and chronic illness
in their local communities and in the state of Indiana.
Educational issues concerning school aged children with
disabilities and chronic illnesses are addressed by IPIN
parent liaisons. Training for parents and professionals about
Special Education Laws is offered on a regular basis. The
Indiana Parent Information Network, Inc. website, includes
a central directory of useful information and resources for
parents, families and professionals.

IN*SOURCE Indiana Resource Center for Families
with Special Needs
IN*SOURCE is dedicated to ensuring the rights of
all citizens with disabilities. Their services fall under
several project categories including the following: The
Indiana Parent Training Program, a parent training and
information project that informs parents about their rights
and responsibilities guaranteed by state and federal laws
in the special education process; The Collaborative Parent
Involvement Project (CPIP), a statewide project helping
parents, educators and local communities work together to
address a variety of challenges including transition, assistive
technology and surrogate parent programs. IN*SOURCE is
part of the First Steps Early Intervention Unified Training
Systems (UTS). The UTS coordinates training and technical
assistance for families and providers serving children with
special needs from birth to age six. IN*SOURCE also
manages the Parent Involvement Fund.

Parent Education & Advisory Council of Zionsville
(PEACZ)
Parent Education and Advisory Council of Zionsville, Inc., is
a nonprofit parent organization designed to provide education,
training, information and support to families of children
with disabilities, chronic health conditions or suspected of
having a physical, mental or learning disability. PEACZ also
provides information, resources and education to persons
who provide early intervention, educational, transitional,
medical, therapeutic and other related services to children
with disabilities. PEACZ was also created to enhance public
awareness regarding the needs and abilities of children with
disabilities as valuable members of our community.
