About YETI

YETI is a not-for-profit organization which built an orphanage in Nepal as one of its first projects. YETI also uses a portion of donated funds to help underprivileged youth in Central Indiana. A minimum of 10-15% of funds raised are used to help underprivileged youth in Indiana.

YETI has been approved for 501(c)(3) status, and your donations are deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

YETI's President visited the project site over the Thanksgiving 2003 holiday, and again in May 2005. The local community is very excited about the project.

The project site is large enough to provide area for the children to have a playground, outdoor area and areas to learn to care for livestock. They will also be able to help raise plants at an adjacent anti-erosion project which provides seedlings for free distribution to combat erosion on the hillsides. The Nepali government, assisted by our partners, has constructed a new school on our property - providing a built-in school for the orphans and surrounding villagers. More about the children of Nepal and the YETI project.
