Scholarship and Awards Information

Local Recognition

1. Senior High Scholarship — Two scholarships are awarded yearly; one to a high school senior girl at Western Boone and one to a high school senior girl at Lebanon.
2. Adult Woman Scholarship — This scholarship is given to a woman over age 25 who is resuming or beginning college.
3. Business Woman of the Year Award — This award gives public recognition to a Boone County woman who has made an outstanding contribution to the community through her business or profession.

International Recognition

1. Amelia Earhart Fellowship Program — Fellowships are awarded on an annual basis to women pursuing Ph.D. degrees in aerospace-related sciences and engineering.
2. Young Women in Public Affairs Program — Pre-university or pre-college women students (ages 16-20) at the time of application are eligible to apply.
3. Jane M Klausman Women in Business Scholarship Program — Scholarships are awarded to women pursuing undergraduate business degrees who demonstrate outstanding potential in their field.
