They wanted to help with this project as Mr. Creekbaum is from Brownsburg and was a veteran along with his three children who are also veterans. They built this monument for the cost of granite only. This granite was ordered from China and was brought over by ship for this special project. Allen Monuments is located in Crawfordsville and the monument was finished at their business and was installed by them just last week. Much thanks to Creekbaum & Allen Monuments for their dedication to this project. The Jamestown American Legion Post #395 will be in charge of the dedication at 12:30 PM. Prior to this dedication the Jamestown American Legion Post Honor Guard will be performing memorial services at Lizton Cemetery at 11:00 AM; Old Union Cemetery at 11:30 AM; and Jamestown IOOF Cemetery at 12:00 noon.
