- Alzheimer's Support Group - Provides information and support to person's and cargivers living with Alzheimer's and demenita-related diseases. Third Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m. Meets at the Witham Medical Office Building Community Room, 2505 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon Co-sponsored by Witham Health Services Transitions Unit, Parkwood Health Care Center, Homewood Health Campus and The Alzheimer's Association.
- American Legion, Nicely-Brindel Post 201, Advance, Robert E. Hill, Commander - meets every first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at Hill's Family Mart, 103 North Main Street in Advance. All legion members are welcome!
- Arc Rehabilitation Services Board of Directors - meet the third Wednesday of every month (with the exception of July and November) at 7:00 p.m. at 825 West Main Street, Lebanon.

- Business Network International - Lebanon Chapter - meets every Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the Comfort Inn in Lebanon. BNI is a networking group made up of local businesses set-up to exchange referrals. - Boone County Amateur Radio Club - meets the first Thursday of every month at the Lebanon Ponderosa on St. Rd. 32 & I-65. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. Our club net is on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. on 147.105+ Mhz., the ARES net is at 9:00 p.m. on Mondays on 147.105+ Mhz., and the YL net is on Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. also on the 147.105+ Mhz. repeater. - Boone County Community Health Clinic, Affiliated with Witham Health Services - Located at the Boone County Health Department, 116 West Washington Street, Suite B202, Lebanon. The mission of the Boone County Community Clinic is to provide primary health care to Boone County residents who have limited access to health care due to the lack of financial resources or health insurance. - Boone County Landmarks Preservation, Inc. - meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Lebanon Public Library. "Working to save our historic structures."
- Boone County Senior Services Board of Directors - meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month at noon at Ulen Country Club.

- Children's Mental Health Advocacy Project (CMHAP) Parent's Support Group - A Parent's Support Group for at-risk children will meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church in one of the classrooms. Educational materials provided and an atmosphere of confidential concern. We are dealing with children from age 3 up to 25. - General Monthly Board Meeting - 7:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at Frontier Co-op. Meeting is open to the public. An executive session (closed to the public) usually follows the conclusion of the public meeting.

- Thorntown History Worms - meet 1st Tuesday of each month from 3:30 - 4:30 pm at the Thorntown Public Library. All students in 4-6 grades are welcome to come. - Zionsville Fall Festival Kiwanis Parade - the theme of this year's parade is "Reading is Fun." The parade begins at 10:45 am. WTHR Channel 13 news anchor John Stehr will be the parade announcer. The parade will begin at the Zionsville High School parking lot. It will proceed on Mulberry Street towards downtown Zionsville, turn left onto Ash Street, then right onto the brick-paved Main Street. Over forty groups and organizations will march or present floats, including the Zionsville High School Marching Band, Boone County 40 & 8 Calliope, Circle City Sidewalk Stompers and the American Legion Color Guard. The parade co-sponsors include the Boone County Tourism Council, Zionsville Kiwanis Club and the Zionsville Lions Club. For more information, contact George Tikijian at (317) 873-6685.

- Lebanon Swim Club Fall Training registration from 7-8 PM at the LHS pool. Practices will be held on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 7:15-8:15 PM on Sept. 18, 20, 25 & 27, and Oct. 2, 4, 9, & 11th. The fee is $35, and $20 for second child in same family. If you're swimming with us for the first time in 2001, there will be an additional $8 "membership fee" that covers insurance. That's alotta splash for your buck! PARENTAL NOTE: Your child must be able to swim the length of our pool independently ("dog- paddling" is acceptable). If you are uncertain about your child's ability, Coach Jamie will be present at registration for assessment (have your child bring their swimsuit). - Seventh Annual "Back to the Fifties" Festival on the Square in Lebanon. Friday evening from 6 to 10 PM ample food and a Street Dance featuring the Sundown band... There will be Horse and Carriage Rides also. Mark your calendars and don't miss this ever growing local Festival in Downtown Lebanon!

- Seventh Annual "Back to the Fifties" Festival on the Square in Lebanon. Saturday from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM there will be a host of activities including a Classic Car Show and an Antique and Classic Bicycle Show with drawings, door prizes and awards and a live DJ. The Mickey Mouse Boulevard will provide a lot of Free activities for kids of all ages and Hallelujah Highway will feature Gospel Music. The Ed Sullivan Showcase will provide entertainment all day long on the south Courthouse walkway. There will be Arts and Craft Booths and an array of Food Booths plus a strolling magician, performances by Lebanon Sports Gymnasts and an Art Show in the Courthouse Rotunda
All this for free with ample parking and shuttle service from the First Community Church at Busby and Lebanon Streets and from the parking lot close to the Tennis Courts in Memorial Park. A special booth for 50's photos will also be a highlight. Mark your calendars and don't miss this ever growing local Festival in Downtown Lebanon!

- 19th Annual Optimist Club "Hit the Bricks" Run/Walk in Zionsville - 5 mile run starts at 8:05 am/3 mile walk starts at 8:15 am at the Zionsville Community High School. Pre-registration entry fee is $12 and $8 for individuals 18 and under. Participants receive a "Hit the Bricks" t-shirt. Pre-registration entries must be received by Monday, September 24. Registration fee on day of race is $15 or $10 for individuals 18 and under (t-shirts included on a first-come, first-serve basis).
