Youth Enhancement and Training Initiative (YETI)

The YETI Orphanage in Nepal.

About YETI

YETI is a not for profit group that raises all funds to sustain its orphanage in Nepal, and the 26 orphans who live there.

YETI also uses a portion of donated funds to help underprivileged youth in Central Indiana. A minimum of 10-15% of funds raised are used to help underprivileged youth in Indiana. YETI was founded on September 11, 2003 by Jeff Papa, Steve Wolff, and Ann Thrasher.

YETI is a 501(c)(3) organization, and your donations are deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

The orphanage site in Nepal is large enough to provide area for the children to have a playground, outdoor area and areas to learn to care for livestock. They will also be able to help raise plants at an adjacent anti-erosion project which provides seedlings for free distribution to combat erosion on the hillsides. The Nepali government, assisted by our partners, has constructed a new school on our property - providing a built-in school for the orphans and surrounding villagers.
